Tasting Profile
William Larue Weller makes caramel corn feel like more than a sweet invitation. Leather and tobacco give the aroma a darker side, while plum brings fruit into that contrast. The sip answers with almond and nougat, taking the whiskey toward confectionery without leaving the fruit behind. Dried fruit gives that sweetness depth, so the palate offers something more layered than the opening caramel corn might suggest.
A composed, sweet close completes the sip, but the darker aroma remains an important part of the experience. Returning to the glass after tasting brings leather and tobacco back against the memory of almond confectionery.
